Learn about the herbarium at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and use a sample pressed specimen to create a detailed pencil sketch. Techniques for reconstructing, measuring and transferring information onto paper will be discussed and demonstrated. Bring your favorite pencils; all other materials will be provided. this class counts toward the Certificate in Botanical Arts.
