My pen and ink illustrations...

of tropical and temperate plants are published in botanical floras, monographs, and journal articles, often representing species new to science. Working closely with scientists from The New York Botanical Garden, Smithsonian Institution, Harvard University and other academic institutions, I am well recognized for my botanical knowledge, a meticulous attention to microscopic detail and an aesthetically pleasing sense of design that defines species of plants. For information about commissioned illustrations and re-use of published work, contact Bobbi.

I’ll quote my colleagues:  "Adding immeasurably to the quality and usability...are some of the finest and most accurate line illustrations to be found anywhere"; "The line drawings of Bobbi Angell are very finely detailed...arranged with a lot of love into plates not only very informative but they also appeal to the aesthetics of the observer."; "She is not only an excellent and sensible artist but also a fine botanist and keen observer who can perceive numerous details of individual plants".
